class rojak.datalib.ecmwf.era5.Era5Data(on_pressure_level, *, persist=True)[source]#

Adapts a loaded ERA5 dataset on pressure levels into the CATData required by rojak.turbulence

The class-level DataVarSchema attributes map each ERA5 variable’s short name (as stored in the raw dataset) to its CF standard name (as required by CATPrognosticData).

Parameters:

on_pressure_level (xr.Dataset)
persist (bool)

__init__(on_pressure_level, *, persist=True)[source]#

Parameters:

on_pressure_level (xr.Dataset) – Raw ERA5 dataset on pressure levels, as downloaded by Era5Retriever
persist (bool) – See __init__(). Defaults to True.

None
